The design proposal for the university town of the International School for the city of Cleveland illustrates the transformation of the general plan of the University of Cleveland in order to convert the region into dense development of mixed use and with recreation regions. Quote ‘’ the ability to overestimate a wider landscape in which children study and give an equally large emphasis on the environment as others, gave educational basic provisions ’’, formed the basis for our proposal.The key goal of the design is to produce a safe education for students. The flexible design of the classroom and the “street” location of the school encourage various age groups of children to meet and study together, while the main space of circulation between classrooms, a student, a dinner, a center of media and a resting place, is an additional center of study. The proposed location of the plan avoids hidden corners and dead points, and a cautious thought was given to landscaping to ensure various types of external space of the game including areas in order to study, instilling, quiet zones and games. The foundation of design is concentrated by approximately four groups of education: study, growth, rest, and social interaction. We believe that they are funds of the new school vision, given the complex program where students can intercTwith each other and the city of Cleveland. Instead of choosing a linear and continuous distribution of these four groups, the project plan offers a combined, more playful combination of places using curves and organic forms.A vision for a university town, an international school should establish an open environment of training as such that the place will be a landscape for the future and expanded study.
