Regulation of the thickness of the removed soil chips during the scoop is carried out using the lifting mechanism. Since Draglain when working stands on the upper ledge of the face, the soil scooping is made from a certain depth, and the bucket is most often unloaded on a high dump. Therefore, in the working cycle of dralagin, a significant place is occupied by the processes of lifting the loaded and lowering the empty bucket.
In the process of lifting, a loaded bucket rises along a relatively gentle trajectory and retains from overturning and unloading with the effort created by the traction mechanism. Bucket unloading is carried out under the influence of its own weight by weakening (fast etching) of the traction rope. The processes of lifting the loaded and lowering the empty bucket are usually combined with the rotation of the excavator platform for unloading and in the slaughter.
The rotation of the platform is carried out by the rotation mechanism. Unlike universal excavators of low performance (up to 2 m3), which usually have a group diesel, diesel-electrical or electric drive, all domestic single-bucket excavators of medium and high performance are equipped with an individual electric drive of the main mechanisms.
In accordance with the above, the main electric drives of the shovels are electric drives of lifting, pressure and turning, and the draglain has electric drives of lifting, thrust and turn. An exception is an previously produced ASH-440 excavator, which has a group electric drive of lifting and thrust mechanisms, which is carried out by separate control using the friction frictions installed for this purpose.
Caterpillar excavators-lopats of medium and high performance have, as a rule, an individual electric drive of the course mechanism. Walking mechanisms of excavators-strings are supplied either with an individual electric drive or an electric water drive.
