Nowadays, natural materials are fading into the background, and artificial materials have been replaced by them for a long time, as cheaper and practical. The same picture can be observed in the market – wooden windows were replaced by plastic windows.
But, despite this trend in European countries, and in Ukraine itself, recently, consumers are increasingly drawn to a natural product. Demand gives birth to a proposal, and wooden structures made using special technology began to appear in the industrial market, which added to windows such qualities as: sound insulation, the ability to retain heat in winter and cool in the summer. Such windows are ideal for decoration, because glazing the balcony is very important for heat saving.
Finnish technology used in the manufacture of windows
Usually the average price for such structures cannot be called cheap. But this is an excuse in the form of improved soundproof and thermal characteristics. They are usually brought from Finland, as well as from Lithuania, Scandinavian countries, Hungary. The profile of such a window can be about 110 millimeters.
To make a wooden window, use a two -layer bar of the highest quality, which was made of wood growing in the forests of the northern regions. This material goes through numerous stages of processing. The tree is dried in a special chamber intended for drying wood until the humidity falls to 12% or slightly lower, but in no case. Then antiseptic treatment and coating with several layers of paint. Accessories are used either by the Finnish manufacturer Fix AB, or other imported manufacturers.
To ventilate the room in which a wooden window is installed, they use windows or transmigs. And such windows are compacted due to silicone or rubber seals.
European technologies used in the manufacture of windows
European windows are slightly less isolated from noise than the Finnish product, but isolation in such windows is still higher than in a plastic product. Typically, the thickness of the profile varies around 78 millimeters. This kind of windows are produced in Russia.
To get rid of such a minus as deformation, manufacturers use a solid breed of wood from which a three -layer bar is made. And for the profile to be resistant to environmental influence, they are covered with a special dye, German production.
Another difference between European and Finnish is the lack of windows. And for their compaction, only high -quality seals are used, such as German Deventer. Many consumers are concerned about the issue of leaving wooden windows and painting them. To solve this problem, you can install wood-aluminum profiles. So the outer side will be covered with aluminum, and the internal will be made of wood. This design costs more, but its service life justifies the price.
